Sesh App
Terms of Use.
Effective: 6 July 2026 · Last updated: 6 July 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of the Sesh app. By creating an account or using Sesh, you accept them. If you don't agree, don't use Sesh. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and is part of these terms.
01Who can use Sesh
- You must be of legal drinking age in every jurisdiction where you use Sesh, and in any case at least 17 years old (the app's App Store rating).
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your login to yourself. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
- One account per person; no accounts created for someone else or for automation.
02What Sesh is — and is not
Sesh is a social drink-logging and BAC-estimation app for harm-reduction awareness and entertainment: log drinks, see estimates, share nights with friends.
- Sesh is not a medical device, breathalyzer, legal-compliance tool, or safety instrument. Estimates depend entirely on what you enter and on population-average formulas that may not describe your body.
- Sesh provides no medical advice. A reading of 0.00 does not mean you are sober, unimpaired, or legal to drive.
- You alone are responsible for your drinking and its consequences. If you or someone around you may be in danger (e.g. alcohol poisoning), call emergency services — 112 in the EU.
03Your content
Sesh lets you post photos and other content — stories, squad schnaps, night recaps, comments, captions ("your content"). You keep ownership of it. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, display, and transmit it solely to operate the app (e.g. showing your story to your friends, purging it after 24 hours).
You must not post content that:
- is illegal, or depicts illegal activity (including underage drinking);
- harasses, bullies, threatens, or degrades anyone;
- is sexually explicit, gratuitously violent, or hateful;
- invades someone's privacy — no posting identifiable photos of people who'd object, and never of minors;
- is spam, a scam, or someone else's work posted without permission.
We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, at our discretion and without notice.
04Reporting, blocking, and moderation
- Report: every story, post, and user can be reported from inside the app (long-press a post, the flag on a story, or a friend's row). Reports go to the operator for review; we aim to act on objectionable content within 24 hours of a report, including removing content and ejecting the user who provided it.
- Block: you can block any user. Blocking removes you from each other's feeds, stories, live status, and friends, and prevents new contact inside Sesh.
- Remove friends: your friend list is yours — you can remove anyone at any time.
05Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service. In particular, don't:
- probe, scrape, overload, or interfere with the service or other users' data;
- attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you don't own;
- misrepresent your identity or impersonate others;
- use Sesh to encourage dangerous drinking — drinking games built on the app's numbers are a bad idea and against the spirit of the whole thing.
06Termination
You can stop using Sesh and request account deletion at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. Sesh is currently a free beta; we may change, pause, or shut down features or the whole service at any time.
07Disclaimers
Sesh is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy of any BAC estimate, availability, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Content posted by users is theirs, not ours; we don't endorse it and are not responsible for it, though we moderate as described above. Venue deals shown in the app are provided by third parties and may change or be withdrawn without notice.
08Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of Sesh is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for personal injury, property damage, legal penalties, or losses arising from your alcohol consumption, from reliance on any estimate shown in the app, or from content posted by other users. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use Sesh in the twelve months before the claim (currently: nothing).
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
09Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Disputes go to the Swedish courts, unless the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence provides otherwise. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
10Changes
We may update these terms as Sesh evolves. Meaningful changes will be reflected in the date above and, for significant changes, noted in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
